Cellulite are dimples that occur due to three reasons: thinning of skin over time, enlargement of fat cells which push against the skin, and fibrous bands under the skin’s surface which thicken and cause tension. A healthy diet and muscle-strengthening exercises, in general, do not effectively address these physiologic changes and do not significantly improve the appearance of cellulite. Liposuction, commonly used for body contouring and to get rid of bothersome deposits of fat, is also ineffective in the treatment of cellulite. Qwo® targets the structural cause of cellulite.
